God is so good to us, is he not? Beginning with pre-assessment, assessment, references, interviews, and meetings, we just received a letter that says we’ve been endorsed as a church planter with North American Mission Board’s Send Network. I will soon participate in a 3-day orientation and 6-months training, and our church will be receiving care from the network for 5 years in building a healthy church. Not only that, I will be attending a 2-weeks residency for my D.Min. in Growing and Multiplying Churches at Talbot School of Theology next week and Purpose Driven Church Conference in June. God has helped us each and every step, and I believe he will continue to help us, equip and guide us for building his church.
“Samuel then took a large stone and placed it between the towns of Mizpah and Jeshanah. He named it Ebenezer (which means “the stone of help”), for he said, “Up to this point the LORD has helped us!” 1 Samuel 7:12 (NLT)
When I say “we’re one more step forward,” I’m seeing each and every step God has allowed us to begin and walk, and that makes me super excited about seeing what he will do in us and through us. What makes me even more excited is the fact that we’re walking this journey with you. With your prayer and support, our church planting journey continues, and I want to say a huge “thanks” to you.
As you might have seen it on my Instagram, I had a privilege of sharing the vision of Overflowing Church with one of our supporting churches in Santa Clara, Holyjoy Mission Church, last Sunday. It was one of the trips that I was reminded how much God loves us and wants to use us for becoming a church that overflows God’s blessings to the community with the gospel.
Please continue to pray for us and share with me your passion for serving in ministry. If anyone wants to know more about Overflowing Church, would you share with them our website address www.overflowing.church? Watching my videos on the vision goals of the church from 1 to 10 might be beneficial for understanding our journey.
Let me know if you have any prayer requests. Praying for you and love you in Christ.
