Dear Overflowing families,

I hope and pray all is well with you and your family. Our God created the beautiful universe out of darkness, and he continued to bring order out of chaos. He certainly can and will give all of us joy, peace, and hope.

“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” Jeremiah 29:11

To give you a brief update, we’ve been preparing ourselves for (1) opening Overflowing Coffee House to build relationships with people in the community, (2) participating community events with a coffee cart, and (3) starting weekly gatherings for worship and more. As you can imagine, we’re expecting delays and a change of plans. However, we’ve decided to trust and follow God’s directions for our lives and our church planting journey, instead of worrying and slowing down. Thank you for your prayer and generosity.

By the way, the Ku family is moving to a new community called Rancho Mission Viejo, which is only 5 minutes away from our church. We’re so excited about getting to know the new community and build bridges that Jesus can walk across. The rent for the apartment is more expensive than our current place, and we haven’t figured out how we can afford it exactly yet. Nonetheless, we’re trusting God who makes a way even when there is no way.

Again, I’m praying for you and your family. “The Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make his face shine on you and be gracious to you; the Lord turn his face toward you and give you peace.” Numbers 6:24-26

Let’s praise the Lord! Let’s doubt the doubt, fight the fight, and trust in the Lord! God loves you and so do I. 😀

In Christ,
